My most challenging project so far!
Losing things is a habit I can’t seem to get rid of, so I decided to turn that problem into an engineering project. Using everything I’ve learned throughout my years studying mechanical engineering, I set out to build a rover that could navigate a room and help find lost items.
Challenge: Teaching myself Python and circuits to tell the rover what I wanted to do with electronic componets stepping out of my confort zone.
How I overcome the challenge: By using AI agents to help me code
Components Used :
- HuskyLens AI Vision Camera (really cool to implement)
- Pico Pi Maker Micro Controller
- Ultra Sonic Sensors
- Rotational Servo
- DC Linear Motors
How it works: ---->
The Camera moves with servos as its searching for the item pico board indicated in Red. Once the items is found in view the pico board indicated in Green.
Future work: Implamenting a drive system that can extend the range of the rover, possibliy battery powered , and creating an enclourse to house all the compents using industry standard components and manufacuturing methods.
These are generated using Chatgpt to help and inspire my build which I used as reference and learn from.
